A Pantego Christmas

Join us as we welcome the holiday season to the heart of the Metroplex with “Santa’s Candy Cane Parade” beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, at the corner of S Bowen Road and Winewood Lane and ending at Bicentennial Park. The three-mile parade route winds through town, led by Santa atop a firetruck and parade participants throwing candy to the young (and young at heart) along the way.

Afterward, Santa and his reindeer will be at Bicentennial Park from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for photos and to hear what's on everyone's wish list. But that’s just the beginning of "A Pantego Christmas". This free event also features:

🎅 Mini Train Rides
🎅 Face Painting
🎅 S'mores and Hot Cocoa
🎅 Holiday Carolers
🎅 Food Vendors
🎅 Fun for All Ages

Give Back this Holiday Season

Mayor Brewster and the Council always look forward to the Red Kettle Mayoral Challenge, a one-day competition to see which North Texas community can raise the most. You can donate online or plan to stop by Walmart Neighborhood Market (at Pioneer and Bowen) or Dutch Bros. (2309 W Park Row) on Saturday, December 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can also find countertop kettles at the following locations:

Now through Saturday, December 16, donations of unwrapped toys, non-perishable foods, and gift cards are being collected by the Pantego Police Department to benefit local families in need. You can drop off items in the lobby of the Larry W. Smith Law Enforcement Center (2600 Miller Lane), which is open 24 hours a day, or at any of these locations during regular business hours:

If you’d like to add your business to the list of drop-off locations, please email info@townofpantego.com. Thank you to Pantego Christian Academy (PCA) for collecting donations from students and their families and to our entire community for helping us to honor the memory of Corporal Godbold, who proudly and compassionately served Pantego for more than five years during her thirteen years in law enforcement.
