The Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission holds regular meetings at 6:00 p.m. on the first Monday of the month in the Council Chambers at Town Hall (1614 S Bowen Road), when there is a case to be heard. Special meetings may be scheduled as necessary. All meetings are open to the public, and agendas will be posted online and at Town Hall no later than seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled start time. The P&Z Commission consists of seven residents (five members and two alternates), who are appointed by the Council for two-year terms. Commissioners formulate recommendations on matters related to special use permits (SUP), zoning categories and requirements, planning, platting, or subdividing land within the corporate limits of the Town. However, the Town Council is the deciding body in these matters.
