Request a Mayoral Proclamation

Request a Mayoral Proclamation

The Mayor issues proclamations to recognize individuals, causes, organizations, and events that reflect positively upon the Town. Proclamations may be presented during Town Council meetings, at events such as ribbon cuttings, or mailed directly to the person or organization being honored. Anyone may request a proclamation, but they are issued solely at the Mayor's discretion. The Mayor's issuance of a proclamation does not constitute an endorsement.

Requests for proclamations should be made in writing to the City Secretary’s Office at least ten (10) business days in advance and include the following information:

  • The specific title of what will be proclaimed and why the event or issue is of importance to the Town as a whole.
  • A clear and concise description of the event or issue, enough information to make at least four points, draft language, and/or background of the person, organization, or event being proclaimed.
  • The date of the proclamation and the date to be presented.
  • The name, telephone number, and email address (where applicable) of the contact person making the request, as well as the name and address of the person to receive the signed proclamation.

You can submit your request below, by email, or by mail to: Town of Pantego, ATTN: City Secretary, 1614 S Bowen Road, Pantego, TX 76013.

Please provide the best number to reach you during normal business hours.
This is only necessary if you would like to request that your proclamation be mailed.
