The Office of the City Secretary is at the forefront of the legislative and administrative processes in local government. The duties and responsibilities are assigned by the various state statutes and Town ordinances. These duties include, but are not limited to:
In the Town of Pantego, the City Secretary is also required to attend and record proceedings of the Pantego Economic Development Corporation. The election of local officials is coordinated and conducted by the City Secretary in conjunction with the Tarrant County Elections Administrator.
