Water Quality Reports (CCR)

Water Source and Conservation
The Town of Pantego sources its drinking water from the Trinity and Puluxy Aquifers via six (6) wells. Water sampling and testing are conducted monthly at four (4) sites and reported annually via the Water Quality Report or Consumer Confidence Report (CCR)Wastewater treatment is under contract with the Cities of Fort Worth and Arlington.

Water conservation has become a primary concern both locally and throughout our nation — especially during the dry summer months. The Town has a Drought Contingency Plan (found in Section 3 of the Water Resource Management Plan), the various stages of which are deployed as necessary. Irrigation with sprinklers is always prohibited between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Annual Water Quality Reports
Consumer Confidence Reports (CCRs), also known as water quality reports or drinking water quality reports, provide you with important information about the quality of your drinking water. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires every community water supplier to provide a CCR to its customers. The CCR is distributed annually and covers the previous testing calendar year. The source of drinking water used by the Town of Pantego is groundwater. Additional source water assessment information is available via Texas Drinking Water Watch.
