Though other items may also appear on the agenda, the primary purpose of this special session is to allow for continued discussion and development of the FY25–26 (October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026) operating budget, which is expected to be considered for adoption by the Council following a public hearing on Monday, September 08, 2025. Adoption of the supporting ad valorem (property) tax rate is expected to be considered by the Council following a public hearing on Tuesday, September 09, 2025.
Public Participation
From July through September, multiple presentations, discussions, and public hearings regarding the budget and the supporting tax rate will be held during both regular and specially-called meetings. The public is encouraged to attend all meetings of the Town Council. Anyone wishing to speak on an agenda item can submit a form to the City Secretary before the meeting begins.
