Though other items may also appear on the agenda, the primary purpose of this special session is to allow the Council to receive public input before voting to adopt an operating budget for Fiscal Year 2025–2026 and to ratify the supporting tax rate.
Adoption of the supporting ad valorem (property) tax rate is expected to be considered by the Council following a public hearing on Tuesday, September 09, 2025.
