First Day to File for a Place on the Ballot

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, the Town of Pantego will hold a General Election for the purpose of electing Town Council Places 1, 2, and 3; and a Special Election for a ballot proposition to reauthorize a local sales and use tax at the rate of one-fourth of one percent for maintenance and repair of municipal streets.

All necessary documents will be available at townofpantego.com/candidate or by visiting Town Hall. Applications for a Place on the Ballot can be filed in the City Secretary's Office beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 The deadline to file is 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026. There is no filing fee.
