Town Offices Closed in Observance of Veterans Day

Town offices will be closed on this date. Generally, if a holiday falls on a Saturday, it is observed the preceding Friday; if it falls on a Sunday, the following Monday.

If you observe a water main break or another urgent issue arises while offices are closed, please call non-emergency dispatch at 817-274-2511. As always, in an emergency, dial 9-1-1. 

Will trash be collected? Enter your address to view the trash and recycling schedule. If you need to make a utility payment, it can be left in the drop box in the parking lot of Town Hall (1614 S Bowen Road) or by visiting townofpantego.com/water

The Town of Pantego observes the following holidays:

• New Year's Day (January 1)
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day (3rd Monday in January)
• Presidents Day (3rd Monday in February)
• Good Friday (the Friday before Easter)
• Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
• Juneteenth (June 19)
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
• Patriot Day (September 11) - Fire Personnel Only*
• Columbus Day (2nd Monday in October)
• Veterans Day (November 11th)
• Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November)
• Day after Thanksgiving (Friday following Thanksgiving Day)
• Christmas Eve (December 24)
• Christmas Day (December 25)

* In 2009, the State of Texas directed fire departments to designate one existing holiday as "Sept. 11." The Town of Pantego chose to add this as a holiday for fire personnel on the actual date. For parity, all other staff are provided with a floating personal day.
