As the local branch of the judicial system, the Pantego Municipal Court come into contact with more defendants than all other Texas courts combined. Therefore, it is our duty to provide fair and impartial justice by promoting the highest standards in customer service, upholding the integrity of the court, and building public trust and confidence.

The Municipal Court Clerks office is closed for in person contact at this time due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. Clerks are available by phone to explain processes and procedures, answer questions, and provide options for handling violations. Defendants will receive all the same services they would receive if they were to come to the court in person.
In accordance with the Governors Emergency Orders and the OCA guidelines for court operations during the declared COVID 19 emergency all court hearings will be conducted remotely when possible. Anyone not having the ability to appear remotely may be allowed to appear in person after contacting the court and verifying their inability to appear remotely.

IF THE COURT IS CLOSED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, YOUR DUE DATE WILL MOVE TO THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY THAT THE COURT IS OPEN.
