Pantego Water Utilities/Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and monitoring of the water and wastewater collection system which includes the maintenance of all water and wastewater mains, fire hydrants, valves, pumps, and motors. They read all water meters in the Town each month, provide re-checks and service connections and disconnections, repair water breaks, leaks, wastewater stops and perform preventative maintenance for all the above.
The Town's water supply is pumped from the Trinity and Puluxy Aquifers from six (6) wells located within the town. Water samples are collected and tested monthly from four different sampling sites throughout the town to ensure safe drinking water to all of the town's customers. Water conservation is of key importance, especially during the dry summer months. The town has a drought contingency plan if the need should arise.
Wastewater is collected and pumped to the cities of Ft. Worth and Arlington for treatment.

If you are needing water service for a residential or business location or you need to cancel your service, please print the required application (see links below). The deposit for residential service is $75.00, which is refundable upon cancellation of service and the account is in good standing. The deposit for a business location is based on the size of the meter and the required amount can be obtained by contacting Town Hall at 817-617-3700. (The same policy applies to the deposit for a business account as well.) You may fax your application to 817-617-3726 or email it to email@example.com. We accept cash, check, or money order for the deposit, and it can be mailed or made in person. Did you know that if you use fun colors, like purple, to write a check the bank's scanner has a hard time picking up the ink. We ask that you use black or blue ink when filling out your check.
We have several payment options available for your monthly water bill; check, cash, charge, by phone (through nCourt), online, and bank draft from a checking account. There is a $4.95 charge to use a credit/debit card whether paying by phone, online, or in person. We no longer accept payment over the phone at Town Hall, but it is available through a third party payment system.

If you would like to sign up for bank draft, please print and complete the application below. Provide the completed application and a voided check copy at the Town Hall offices. The bank draft will become effective within one to two billing cycles.
To save a stamp or mailing time, we have two drop locations at Town Hall. A drop box is located in the parking lot in front of the pine tree. If you are not comfortable putting your payment in the drop box, we have a drop slot to the right of the Town Hall door.
