***Water Restriction Update 8/5/22***
With the 303 Well back online, the Town’s hope had been to end Stage 1 (watering twice a week) restrictions soon, however that is not currently realistic. While 303 being in production has helped immensely, right now due to the extreme heat and lack of rain, we are still using more water than we are producing. Over the past seven days, our average production has been .838 mgd (million gallons per day) and our average usage has been .901 mgd. With this being the case, increased usage at this time would quickly lead to us having to return to Stage 2 restrictions, which allowed watering only once weekly. We continue to evaluate the numbers daily and will further update when we have more information.
