Effective July 7, 2022 the Town of Pantego is initiating Water Restrictions In accordance with ORDINANCE NO. 11- 652 & ORDINANCE NO. 22-895.
Limit daytime and overnight landscape watering with sprinklers or irrigation systems at each service address to once every seven days according to the following schedule:
o Residential addresses ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6, or 8) may water on MONDAYS. NO WATERING ALLOWED BETWEEN 10am – 6pm.
o Residential addresses ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7, or 9) may water on FRIDAYS. NO WATERING ALLOWED BETWEEN 10am – 6pm.
o All non-residential locations (apartment complexes, businesses, industries, parks, medians, etc.) may water on WEDNESDAYS. NO WATERING ALLOWED BETWEEN 10am – 6pm.
All watering at all times including overnight hours are prohibited except on the above days.
The Town anticipates these restrictions to be in effect for no longer than two weeks, and will post updates accordingly.
Exceptions:
Foundations may be watered up to two hours on any day using a handheld hose, soaker hose or drip irrigation system placed within 24 inches of the foundation that does not produce a spray of water above the ground.
