Our Community

Pantego occupies about one square mile in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex – the nation’s fourth-largest metro area. We're located two miles north of I-20 and bounded on three sides by Arlington. Though our residential population is less than 3,000, daily traffic counts exceed 100,000 due to our central location. Major thoroughfares include:

  • West Park Row Drive
  • South Bowen Road
  • West Pioneer Parkway (Spur 303)

With DFW now exceeding 8 million in population, the residents of Pantego highly value the slower pace of life our small town provides. Under the direction of the Mayor and Council, our staff both enjoy and strive to preserve that feeling.

Still, Town Hall is within ten miles of AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys), Globe Life Field (home of the Texas Rangers), Texas Live!, and Six Flags. Fort Worth’s historic Stockyards, downtown Dallas, and DFW International Airport are all thirty minutes to an hour away, depending on traffic.

Join our Pantego team to find out what we mean by “small town charm... big city opportunities”
