The Pantego Fire Department provides twenty-four hour emergency services, 365 days a year. In addition to the traditional service of fire suppression, the Department also provides advanced and basic life support, emergency medical services and transport, rescue operations, fire prevention, life safety inspections, public education, and public information. Pantego has the distinct honor of being a Class 2 rated Fire Department. Pantego Fire Rescue is devoted to providing the highest quality fire rescue and emergency medical response. We take great pride in our ability to serve our customers in an average response time of 2 minutes or less. We value and support a strong fire, rescue, and EMS mutual-aid partnership with the City of Arlington.

The Pantego Fire Department continues to support the anniversary of September 11, 2001, with the construction of a memorial to honor those who sacrificed their lives on that day. The memorial was a coordinated effort of department personnel, the business community, and private individuals.
